Description

The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council (the Council) is seeking to source a suitably licensed contractor to deliver the Service which is composed of the collection, keeping, and recycling of Baled Cardboard from the Council's Collection Point. The contract is required to start 9th November 2020 and will run for a fixed period of three years until 31st October 2023. The Contractor will purchase the Recyclable Waste from the Council for a fixed rate per tonne which will track the published market rate each month.

The Contractor will be responsible for the collection, keeping and recycling of approximately 80 tonnes per month (960 per annum) of Baled Cardboard in line with current methods and regulations. The bales weigh approx. 500kgs each and we anticipate 40 x bales to one curtain-sided load.
