Description

Oxford City Council (the 'City Council') is seeking to award a Service Concession Contract for the Management and Promotion of Carfax Tower on behalf of the Council as detailed in the Contract Terms and Conditions and the Specification.
The principal aim of the tender process is to appoint to the Council a single Concessionaire to operate and manage Carfax Tower, and also promote it as a prime visitor attraction for the Council and as part of a cultural quarter. The Council will be seeking an annual income from this Agreement.
This Contract Term is 3 years with the option of a 1 year extension

In partnership with other public, private and voluntary agencies the Council provides a wide range of services for approximately a population of 161,300 (ONS 2016 mid-year estimate), 32,000 students enrolled for full-time studies, 46,000 people commute into Oxford for work and have nearly seven million people who visit the City of Oxford every year.
