Description

InReach (Birmingham) Limited 'InReach' is a wholly-owned company subsidiary of Birmingham City Council. The organisation was set up in December 2014 and provides a further tenancy option for city residents, providing Private Rented Sector (PRS) accommodation. The Council is responding to the demand for rented homes at market price and setting the quality standards for all to follow.

InReach Limited wishes to invite potential suppliers to submit tenders for the provision of furniture packages for 92 apartments within the Embankment complex. Embankment is the first development from InReach Living (https://www.inreachliving.com), set to transform the rental market in Birmingham as the city's first truly PRS purpose built lifestyle development. Embankment will offer 92 residences for PRS letting.

The objective of this procurement is to provide the homes with quality, robust, value for money furnishing solutions that enhances the experience of living at Embankment and imperatively leads to long term residency and create a set of furnishing solutions that:

• Establishes a sense of quality and design in the eyes of the residents and their visitors
• Is synonymous with style and value for money

Furniture package requirements are detailed within the Invitation to Tender Document.

The proposed duration of the framework is for three years, commencing February 2018 with an option based on performance to extend for another 2 years.

InReach Limited will be using its free to use e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and potential suppliers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
