Description

Tavistock Town Council is seeking tenders from contractors with the relevant skills and experience, to undertake an internal fit out of the recently restored, Grade 2 Listed, Butchers' Hall. The Butchers' hall is located in the centre of Tavistock and forms part of an historic market complex constructed in the mid-nineteenth century. The Butchers' Hall when fully restored, will be used for themed markets and events. The work is comprised of: Installation of new lighting and heating systems; installation of a new shop front including new electronic sliding doors; the removal of M&E components and some asbestos panelling; and decoration throughout. Work is scheduled for completion by beginning of December 2017. The estimated value of this contract is in the region of GBP 80000 to GBP 90000.
