Description
Herefordshire Council is looking at how the application of technologies can improve the quality and efficiency of care delivery to support people to maintain their well-being, maximise their independence, and reduce their need for the delivery of intrusive care and support services.
In support of that objective Herefordshire Council are seeking to trial an assistive technology system that will enable care givers, to deliver care remotely for individuals in their own home and/or in supported living or similar environments. The vision is to deploy an integrated suite of technologies that will keep service users permanently connected to family, friends, care and support providers, and healthcare professionals.
This process does not constitute a formal tender or other competitive bidding process. The Council is using the process solely to test the market to gather information and ascertain the level of interest in this particular service.
