Description

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) required the provision of a contract to renew its support and maintenance for Symantec Veritas software to include SYMC Business Critical Services Premier for Storage Foundation and Clustering Family. DVLA is referred to as the Authority hereafter.
The Authority's ICT Contract was due to expire on 12th September 2015 and the Authority werelooking to find the best balance between bringing IT services in house, building internal capacity & capability and where necessary and cost effective, contracting services out under approved commercial structures. As part of this work the Authority has identified a number of Legacy support and maintenance contracts that it needs to renew.
