Description

ECC is launching a £100m Economic Renewal Investment Fund aiming to work with a variety of public and private partners to deliver a range of priorities for our residents and businesses. \r
\r
As such, the County needs to be assured that its resources are focused on the right areas and actions across the county to achieve the best outcomes for residents and businesses and provide the best value for money for taxpayers. This requires business cases based on robust socioeconomic research and analysis, economic appraisal/monitoring and evaluation. \r
\r
ECC's Economic Infrastructure team is therefore seeking a single consultant to provide socioeconomic services to support economic renewal capital projects over a 24-month contract, with the option to extend for a further 12 months. Bidders should ensure that they are able to meet all of the following typical requirements for projects that fall within this requirement. \r
- Reviewing opportunities and risks\r
- Consultation with local stakeholders\r
- Case study analysis and literature reviews\r
- Economic appraisal\r
- Specialist advice on monitoring and evaluation\r
- Reporting\r
\r
It is not known when projects for socioeconomic services will arise during the contract and there is no guarantee that any or all of the budget will be utilised over the contract period.
