Description
Newcastle University requires a brightfield slide scanner system for automated capture of tissue sections immobilised on standard and double-width microscope slides. The system will be required to capture images of tissue sections labelled with standard immunohistochemical stains. The system will be located and operated by the Central Bio-Bank facility and will form a major part of their tissue processing and imaging services. The main users of the system will be academic labs across FMS. The scope of the contract is for the delivery, installation and commissioning of a brightfield slide scanner, as specified in Section 3, a minimum of 1 year's warranty, maintenance and after sales service. The warranty, maintenance and servicing shall begin following commissioning of the system. The supplier may offer an ex-demonstration or reconditioned system.
