Description

The service consists of the following elements:
-3x Planned rural grass cuts consisting of Single Swathe and Visibility Grass Cuts
-Targeted Junction visibility splay grass cutting
-Return visits for top-up to Full Width Grass Cut (Provisional)

-1x Planned Rural Grip Cut
-The supply of Plant / equipment and operators for Engineer Instructed Day Works as required
-Temporary Traffic Management
The Employer intends to appoint two Contractors to provide the service. Lot 1 will cover the southern part of the
county including the districts of Harborough, Blaby, Oadby & Wigston and parts of Hinckley & Bosworth. Lot 1
will also work on all the High Speed roads across the County. Lot 2 will cover the northern part of the county
including the districts of Melton, Charnwood and North West Leicestershire and parts of Hinckley and Bosworth.
The actual boundaries of work ordered will be varied slightly to balance the work between the two Lots.
