Description

The Mill Adventure Base located in Sutton-in-Ashfield, is a highly regarded regionally and increasingly further afield, through its through its innovation and passion to deliver opportunities to Young People and communities of Nottinghamshire. The centre provides a secure site, highly experienced staff and the young people centred approach which is particularly important to individuals with disabilities, those hard to reach, those at risk/ or vulnerable especially within our Looked After Children remit. This procurement seeks to see the replacement of the climbing tower and other activity structures that also improve the inclusivity of our offer with disability access and support being a key part of the design brief.This is a single build contract covering the design, build and integration of specialist activity structures with adherence to specific standards and legal compliance as detailed before final commissioning into service.

The contract needs to be completed and commissioned ready for use by 30th April 2020. A variant bid option based on a mutually agreed date (commencing after October 2020) between Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC) and provider, is requested. It should be noted that the variant bid will only be considered if there are no compliant bids received.
