Description

Birmingham City Council (the Council) is conducting the procurement using the open procedure in accordance with the requirements of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

Tenders are invited for the provision of temporary accommodation for citizens who are homeless and for other homeless families who have No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF).

The provision of temporary accommodation will be provided through a private sector leasing (PSL) scheme. The contract is separated into two lots:

Lot 1 - A Block Contract arrangement for a prescribed number of leased, furnished properties required for the life of the contract.

Lot 2 A Framework agreement to provide additional capacity of furnished accommodation purchased on an ad hoc basis subject to demand
The Contract will be managed by the Temporary Accommodation Team.

Suppliers are encouraged to return submissions for both lots.

The duration of both the Framework Agreement and the Block Contract will be 4 years.

BCC will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
