Description

The School of Environmental Science wishes to purchase an analyser to measure atmospheric ammonia concentrations in situ at the Weybourne Atmospheric Observatory. Due to the remote location of Weybourne, the analyser need to be very sensitive and needs to have very low limits of detection. The instrument must be field deployable, stable with minimal drift in performance, have proven calibration strategy and be able to analyse ammonia in atmospheric air without the need to dry sample.

Bids need to demonstrate the instrument can measure ammonia across a large dynamic range: 0.5 - 200 nmol mol-1 with detection limits for ammonia better than 1 nmol mol-1 for 1-second measurements.

Budget available circa: £55,000 (incl. vat)
