Description

CPI is currently working with world-leading companies in utilising waste streams for the production of chemicals and energy. These technologies have the potential to transform the economic landscape of chemical manufacture both in the UK and further afield.

CPI has on-going programs within four biorefining themes, the aim of which is to produce chemicals from renewable sources, in turn reducing reliance on fossil fuels. CPI bridges the gap between early stage concept and scalable commercial process. Early and mid-stage technologies are characterised against scale-associated risk and guided by an understanding of relevant cost contribution.

Utilising our state-of-the-art facilities and technical expertise, we help our clients to de-risk process development. This is achieved through proof of concept testing to accelerate the commercialisation of new products and process technologies. Our multidisciplinary team has completed feasibility assessments, process development projects and piloting studies for UK, European and international clients.
