Description

The service is being commissioned by the Durham Police and Crime Commissioner (DPCC).

The services within this contract relate to all victims/survivors of rape or sexual violence residing in County Durham and Darlington even if they choose not to report to the police.

All documents are available free of charge to potential bidders for these Specific services and must be downloaded from the procurement portal as requested.

The specification provides the details of the service to be delivered by the provider as part of an integrated response to rape and sexual violence that will be tailored to meet the needs of our local County Durham and Darlington population. A high quality and cost-effective service model must embrace a concept of integrated, specialist interventions and a range of assessment and support services through defined processes and care pathways.
Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVAs) are expected to provide a holistic service that ensures victims/survivors of rape or sexual assault, regardless of their age, gender, disability, ethnicity or sexual orientation receive timely and appropriate practical and emotional support in a safe, secure and confidential environment. The service must be flexible, easily accessible, tailored to the needs of the individual and will play a vital role in meeting the needs of victims/survivors. It is essential that there is effective integrated working across all partners involved in delivering related services.
