Description

Needlefree Connector is a device that allows connection to catheters, administration sets, and syringes without needles for the infusion of fluids or administration of medications. They also provide a safe microbial barrier for connections using Luer syringes that allow safer infusion, injection and sampling whilst maintaining a closed intravenous circuit.

Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of 25 000 000 GBP to 30 000 000 GBP in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement.
