Description

Leicester City Council (the Authority) invites quotations for the provision of a new cricket ground off St. Oswald Road, Leicester, LE3 6RJ. The work includes removal of the surface grass layer, re-grading of the pitch area by cut and fill, installation of lateral drains at 4m centres, installation of main drains and two engineered soakaway trenches, construction of a cricket square with eight natural turf pitches and one artificial turf pitch, laying seedbed fertiliser, sowing of the square and outfield, sand top dressing, soil decompaction, initial twelve weeks' maintenance. It is likely that the maintenance period will be extended to cover the whole of 2021.
