Description

The Derbyshire Hard of Hearing Support Service will undertake environmental hearing equipment assessments for people who are hard of hearing or are Deaf. They will also order any required equipment from the approved equipment framework. The service will have a key role in providing good quality information, advice and peer support via events and outreach bases across Derbyshire. The Hard of Hearing Support Service will cover all of Derbyshire (excluding Derby City).
The contract length will be 3 years with the potential to extend for two additional separate years. The Contract budget is £127,078 per annum.
The contract is below the Light Touch Regime threshold so is being advertised as a sub-threshold open tender. The Light Touch Regime is a "light" procurement approach which permits councils to design procurement procedures suitable for services provided directly to people.
