Description

As part of Star Academies commitment to achieving Net Zero carbon emissions by 2040, Star are seeking to establish separate frameworks for contractors to design and install LED lighting and PV across the School estate.

Star Academies are looking to run a compliant framework tender to appoint up to three suitable suppliers to provide design and installation of Solar Photo Voltaic (PV) panels across Star Academies estate. In addition to Star Academies commissioning services from this Framework, the Framework will be available for Schools within Star Academies portfolio to call off works and services directly. This option will also be open to other Multi Academy Trusts across the UK.

The successful suppliers will be expected to carry out works across the five regional clusters. As part of the tender process, the top scoring supplier to each lot will be required to carry out works at the following pilot schools during the school holiday period in 2022 - Eden Boys' Leadership Academy and Tauheedul Islam Girls' High School (TIGHS).
