Suppliers Involvement - Engagement with providers for Provision of an APMS contract (Leicestershire)

Midlands & Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (ML CSU) on behalf of the Commissioner, West Leicestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), would like to invite providers to attend an Early Suppliers Involvement (ESI) event to inform the service specification and requirements for the upcoming procurement of the APMS contract for the Thurmaston Health Centre in Thurmaston, Leicester.

The Commissioners would like to hear from any potential provider who would be willing to present and discuss their current and future service delivery models, capability and capacity, to help finalise the service specification and to ensure alignment and discussion of potential innovative processes and changes in scope.

The Commissioners would value expert insight that can be given into the delivery of this type of service and information would be greatly received. The information you provide may be used in the rationale for the service specification final content.

The event will take place in Leicestershire from 4.30pm - 7.30pm on the 21st November 2019.

The session will be a workshop-style format of to allow for informal discussion on relevant topics, the topics for discussion are:

- Service specification
- KPI's
- Patient access
- Patients involvement and education

A further advertisement will be published in early 2020 notifying providers of a planned further market engagement event, closer to the tender date. The advert will also be placed on Contracts Finder like this one has and on MLCSUs' procurement portal, Bravo, which will be utilised for the tender.

NOTES

"Light Touch Regime" services
This procurement is for clinical services which are Light Touch Regime services for the purpose of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 as specified in Schedule 3 of the Regulations ("Regulations"). Accordingly, the contracting authorities are only bound by those parts of the Regulations detailed in Chapter 3 Particular Procurement Regimes Section 7. The contracting authorities are not voluntarily following any other part of the Regulations.
The procedure which the contracting authorities are following is set out in the MOI and ITT. As the CCG is a relevant body for the purpose of the National Health Service (Procurement, Patient Choice and Competition) (No 2) Regulations 2013 these Regulations also apply to this procurement.
