Description
The Digital Durham programme uses public funds to upgrade broadband infrastructure to provide improved broadband services across 10 local authority areas. In order to do this, detailed coverage information is required on a fairly regular basis on the provision in each locality. This requirement is more relevant now than previously as decisions as to when to carry out formal processes to determine where further public funds can be spent is more for the local authority to determine than previously.
Therefore, there is a requirement to access telecommunications coverage data (intelligence) to inform decisions. This is required to postcode level for all 10 local authorities.
This contract has been divided into the following Lots:
• Lot 1 Fixed Broadband Availability
• Lot 2 Fixed Broadband Take Up
• Lot 3 Mobile Broadband Availability
• Lot 4 Mobile Service Take Up
• Lot 5 Progress
Potential suppliers may submit a tender for one Lot, multiple Lots or all Lots.
Each Lot will be evaluated and awarded separately.
