Description

The University of Sheffield seeks to benchmark the performance of the new cathode materials developed by the FutureCat project in a robust and industrially relevant manner, there is a need to establish standard test methods and data management protocols that can be used by all academic partners. An independent provider of expertise in measurement and testing of battery cathode materials, sitting at the intersection of academic innovation and real world exploitation is required. The aim is to provide assurance to future commercialisation partners that the testing is robust and the results are reproducible.
The provider will support the FutureCat project by developing and maintaining a suite of standard protocols for fabrication, testing and post mortem evaluation of Li-ion cells used in the project.
