Description
The site is the former Chase Farmer Hospital, The works include demolition of all structures on parcel C of the site including grubbing up foundations to a depth of 1m below existing ground level. This includes the removal of asbestos within the buildings and externally. In addition to structures above ground, any underground tunnels and ducts are to be removed including any associated foundations and the voids backfilled with MOT type 1 or if instructed selected crushed demolition material. The works also include creating and agreeing with the relevant authorities a remediation plan for any contamination that is on site. This remediation plan is also to be implemented upon instruction to proceed from the Contract Administrator.
