Description

Solihull MBC are tendering to create a Flexible Contracting Arrangement (FCA) under the Light Touch regime of the PCR 2015 to purchase residential and nursing care home beds for older people. The FCA will be for 5 years with options to extend for up to 24 months plus 24 months. The Council is not committing to any volumes through the FCA.

The Council may open the FCA as required throughout the life of the arrangement for new tenderers to have the opportunity to obtain a place on the FCA. The Council may release mini competitions to those providers on the FCA to bid for block contracts throughout the life of the arrangement.

This current opportunity includes the initial creation of the FCA and also a range of block contract opportunities with differing contract lengths with a total value of £17.5m.

Delivery of block contracts will be required to be within Solihull Borough.
