Description

The Contract and Framework Agreement is for the provision of repairs, maintenance and replacement of flat and pitched roof coverings plant throughout the University Estate as detailed in the Specification.

In order to allow this contract to be used for potential European Union funded projects we are notifying all tenderers that some works might be subject to part funding by the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme for England (2014-2020) or any other European Union Funded Programme.
The opportunity will also be available for use by other Public Bodies in Wolverhampton and Partner Authorities in the West Midlands Combined Authority.


This requirement is split into 2 Lots.
• Lot 1 covers individual jobs £25k in value. The Lot 1 Contract will be awarded to a single Contractor.
• Lot 2 covers individual jobs >£25k in value. Lot 2 will form a Framework Agreement comprised of three (3) Contractors. Each call-off for the works required under Lot 2 will be conducted via further-competition.
Tenderers can apply for both Lots

The term of the Contract and Framework Agreement shall be for a period of three (3) years commencing on 01st March 2017 with an optional extension for a further 12-month period.
The Qualification section will be assessed on a pass/fail basis in accordance with the standard qualification questions implemented by PAS91.

The requirements here include:

The successful Contractor(s) must have a minimum of £5m Public Liability Insurance
The successful Contractor(s) must have a minimum of £5m Employers Indemnity Insurance

• The Tenderer must have a minimum annual turnover of £1.5M
• The Tenderer must have a Credit Safe Score of ≥30
• The Tenderer must be a member of the National Federation of Roofing Contractors
• The Tenderer must hold an accredited independent third party certificate of compliance with BS OHSAS 18001 / a relevant Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) certificate
