Description

Alpha wish to appoint an experienced service provider to provide a catering service at Poppyfields extra care development. This will include provision of between 80 -100 hot meals per day and a bistro service seven days a week. Poppyfields is a new extra care development located in Upton, Wirral which is due to open in Spring 2021. In line with the requirements of the Public Contracts Regulation 2015 in respect of the Light Touch Regime, Alpha has elected to follow the structure of an open procedure in order to ensure a best practice approach to the procurement of this contract.

It is intended that the contract established following the procurement will run for an initial term of three years, extendable for a further term of two years via annual extensions. Any extension will be at the discretion of Alpha. The estimated contract value is c. £175,000 - £219,000 (exc VAT) per annum, based on between 80 - 100 hot meals per day.

Alpha will utilise bespoke terms and conditions, which have been included within the tender documentation set.
