Description
We are seeking to appoint caretaking and facilities services to the Centre and require the following services/duties:
• Opening and closing premises
• Key holder support
• Operating security system i.e. CCTV
• Use of alarm system
• Security checks
• Managing on site security operation
Managing environmental standards as required
• Heating
• Lighting
• Water and waste
• Managing minor repairs on an ad hoc basis
• Supervision of on-site projects
• Supervision of cleaning staff every morning
• Winter care of the building
• Rock salt car park when required
On site planned maintenance as required
• Water testing for contamination and recorded (Legionella)
• Emptying of all recycle bins throughout building
• Stock control of toilet rolls and handwash
• Stock control of refreshments
• Litter pick and sweep grounds
• Unblock toilets/maintain facilities.
Lunch Service (daily)
• Check temp of food on arrival
• Set up rooms for lunch
• Clean up after lunch - place all crockery in dishwasher. Empty and put away
Training Rooms (daily)
• Rooms to be set up in line with customer requests - tables and chairs - for morning, afternoon, twilight and evening courses
• Coffee machines set up fully stocked
• Coffee machines cleaned and maintained
• IT in training rooms set up with customer requests (powerpoint slides, etc) A good working knowledge of MS Office and ICT equipment is required.
• On hand to set up Customers with their own IT equipment
• On hand to deal with all IT malfunction where possible
Please note: In addition, there will be the requirement for main reception duty on 'Late Lets' - from 6 pm - 10 pm on an ad-hoc basis where the Centre has been booked.
Staff will be required to be:
• First Aid qualified
• Fire Marshall trained
• DBS checked
Staffing will be 2 Caretakers
• 06:00 - 12:15 - 6.25 hours
• 11.45 - 18:00 - 6.25 hours
• Late lets from 18:00 up to 22:00 on an ad-hoc basis with notice.
