Description

The Nonsuch and Wallington Education Trust (NWET) was formed in September 2015 and consists of 2 schools: Nonsuch High School for Girls and Wallington High School for Girls. Both are high performing selective schools that rank amongst the top girls' schools in the UK, are located within the London Borough of Sutton on the South London / Surrey border and are within easy reach of Central London. Whilst currently 2 schools, NWET is an expanding Trust, and is currently in consultation with Carshalton High School for Girls with the possibility that it might join the Trust in the future.

NWET exists to deliver a first class education for girls ensuring that they realise their full potential and leave the schools in the Trust well prepared for their future. With around 2 700 students and a highly effective operating model, NWET gives member schools the financial strength to drive school improvement and provides increased opportunities for students and staff across the Trust.

The successful Supplier will be required to provide cleaning services for the Nonsuch and Wallington Education Trust (the Client).

The tender project is seeking to appoint a single Supplier whose initiative and innovation will drive the provision of cleaning services across both schools in the Trust.

High quality service levels should maintain excellent standards throughout, resulting in a pleasant and fit for purpose environment that supports teaching and learning for both the pupils and staff. It is required that the Supplier will be proactive in the management of the contract, thus ensuring that all specifications are achieved and that costs are actively managed.

The contract being tendered is for five years from 1.4.2018 until 31.3.2023, with options to terminate from the end of the third year. The contract will be fixed price in nature, with the Supplier invoicing the Client for one-twelfth of the annual cost on a monthly basis.

It should be noted that the successful Supplier will be expected to bring innovation; new equipment and cleaning methods to the contract, with BICSc standards being achieved, as a minimum, thus ensuring that the highest levels of cleanliness are maintained in all areas at all times and also ensuring that the productivity of the cleaning operatives is enhanced.
