This requirement is for the design, manufacture, delivery, installation and commissioning of the NMR Spectrometer for the use in the ISIS Deuteration Facility at UKRI STFC- Rutherford Appleton Laboratory.

The UKRI-STFC ISIS Deuteration Facility supports ISIS Users experiments by providing deuterated compounds for use within beamline experiments. The group is responsible for the synthesis of simple and more often large complex compounds. Part of this, it is required to analyse the samples produced before handing over to the users.
The type of samples produced range from simple perdeuterated fatty acids to complex surfactants where it is required to determine where the deuterium has been incorporated.
With the group expanding and an increase in demand for more complex molecules, they require their own instrument to carry out this analysis. Most of the samples produced are perdeuterated, and therefore a dedicated 2H channel is required.

Detailed NMR Spectrometer requirements are defined in the attached document,UK SBS PR19047 Specification.
