Description

The Handyperson service aims to provide practical support to complete small works of repair, maintenance, adaptation and certain essential household tasks. Such works are not normally eligible for financial assistance from the Council or other providers.
The service will also play an important role in identifying the support needs of older, disabled and vulnerable people. Appropriate referral mechanisms will be put in place to ensure service users are offered the support they require.

All documentation including questionnaires must be completed and submitted by no later than the time/date indicated. The Council undertakes to use reasonable endeavours to hold confidential any information provided in the proposal submitted, subject to the Council's obligations under law, including the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
