Description

Quotation for Refurbishment of Public Toilets at West Bromwich Indoor Market Hall

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking quotations from suitably qualified building contractors for refurbishment and building works at the Public Toilets at West Bromwich Indoor Market Hall, Kings Square, West Bromwich.

The Scope of the Contract is as follows:

Strip out, isolate, disconnect, and remove all existing facilities in ladies, gents, disabled toilets and toilet stock room.

Supply and install new vandal resistant toilet cubicles, wall pans, basins, urinal troughs, hand driers. The creation of baby changing/feeding facility, supply and install wall and floor tiles, washroom grade laminate and re-painting of all existing woodwork.

The quotation document will include the full specification of requirements.

Applicants who wish to be considered for the above contract must meet the following pass/fail criteria;

• Constructionline registered companies only
• Constructionline contracted minimum value of £70,000
• Constructionline registered for Building General and or Building Refurbishment over £15,000 categories
• Membership of recognised SSIP scheme
• Public Liability Insurance level of £5 million
• Employers Liability Insurance level of £10 million
• Asbestos awareness certified
• Details of any Prohibitions/Improvement notices
• Details of any RIDDOR referrals
