Description

NOTE: This notice was updated on 11 November 2021 for the following reason: We have made the decision to extend the deadline for return of bids for the whole ITT to 5pm on Wednesday 24th November 2021.(The LGA is looking to work with a partner(s) to improve the understanding of cyber security response and recovery principles within local authorities through cyber incident exercising. This specification and work is split into parts.

Review and methodology - Firstly, we are procuring a partner to conduct a review and gap analysis of the suitability and applicability of existing cyber incident exercising for the local government sector. Then additionally, to support implementing the recommendations from the review with particular focus on guidance, facilitation notes and additional exercises.

Facilitation - Secondly, we are procuring a partner to facilitate a minimum of 6 table-top cyber security response and recovery exercises with six councils between January and March 2022 using the methodology, guidance, and exercises from the review stage of the work.)
