Description

Lancashire County Council (LCC) is seeking tenders from suitably qualified providers to deliver the Recovery Infrastructure Organisation (RIO) Services. The Recovery Infrastructure Organisation (RIO) will enable the development of lived experience communities to provide resilience and support across Lancashire that aim to support individuals to lead the life they choose. Whilst routed in the alcohol and drug agenda, the work of the RIO will touch on a wide range of interlacing themes. LCC is tendering for a Service Provider to develop a Recovery Infrastructure Organisation that will deliver against three core strands:

Strand 1: Individuals: Support individuals in addiction or recovery to address basic needs, promote sustainable behaviour change, and navigate health, social, criminal justice, and civic systems to build their recovery capital.

Strand 2: Community: To develop and support recovery groups and communities across the Lancashire County Council footprint.

Strand 3: Strategic: Work strategically with LCC Public Health and partners to represent and develop the voice and roles of those with lived experience to influence the prevention and wellbeing agenda in Lancashire.

The Service will support the on-going planning, delivery and development of the Lancashire User Forum (LUF); The Service will work with commissioners to develop and deliver the Lancashire devolved commissioning model, Building Recovery in Communities (BRiC). The Service will serve the population of Lancashire County Council and operate in the following local government district councils of Lancaster, Wyre and Fylde, Preston, South Ribble, West Lancashire and Chorley, Burnley, Pendle, Hyndburn, Rossendale and the Ribble Valley.

The Provider will cover part of the Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care System (ICS).
