Description

2632/491/CW/NW/20 Sample Preparation Suite

The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for a Sample Preparation Suite on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre Northwest, Heatley House, Bowran Street, Preston, PR1 2UX.

Scope of Requirement
This tender is for the supply, installation and commissioning of a materials preparation laboratory equipment. Three main stages are required including, sectioning, mounting (hot and cold mounting) and grinding/polishing. The equipment shall be used for testing and demonstration purposes in the AMRC North West's interim facility in Preston and ultimately in a new facility in the Aerospace Enterprize Zone at Samlesbury.
