Description

The Contractor is to provide a comprehensive homecare service for provision of Delivery of an IVAB / OPAT Homecare service from a GPhC registered Pharmacy for the member Purchasing Authority's in accordance with the agreed contract and legal requirements, which comprises; dispensing and delivering a range of medicines, with the option required to deliver Ancillaries, remove waste product, provide suitable fridge, bedside reconstitution, nursing administration of medicines.


The East Midlands Pharmacy Collaborative (EMPC) hosted by The University Hospitals of Derby & Burton NHS Foundation Trusts has collated the requirements of the following Trusts who may or may not be participating in this offer, subject to the terms of any existing agreements. Hereafter all references to Pharmacy Collaborative will incorporate these Trusts also. Inclusion of ICB's / Mental Health Trusts across the region may be required at a later stage.

This is a two-year contract with the option to extend for a further 2 years at the discretion of the EMPC and provider(s) agreement.

The current annual value of the contract for The East Midlands Pharmacy Collaborative Members (EMPC) is £4m.
We anticipate growth of this Contract with additional Trust take up and increase in patient numbers. The anticipated contract value over a 4 year period is in the region of £200m; depending on Contract take up by the Trusts listed in section 4 above
Suppliers will be required to meet the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit Standard for their Information Systems
