Description

Lancaster University is to invite tenders for the design and installation of a café and delivery preparation kitchen at Health Innovation One.
HIO is a new development to the north of the campus at Lancaster University. The building will provide teaching space and premises for a number of resident companies and University staff. HIO has a strong sustainability agenda, and these values will extend in to the unit. We will forgo all single-use plastics in the delivery of our services and we will seek out environmentally responsible practices in everything we do. This ethos should be reflected in the design of the café. The front of house area design will be in keeping with the style of the building. The works have been provisionally scheduled to begin on 10th February 2020, for a duration of 4 weeks.

All procurement documents will be available free of charge via the University's e-tendering portal: In-Tend.

The University is proposing to use an open tendering method for this project.
