Description

We are looking to appoint an experienced digital developer to produce an interactive trail and wayfinding resource that will aid exploration and enjoyment of the City of Bath World Heritage Site. This digital resource will enable people to 'collect' historic places on their mobile device via proximity-based communication as they explore the exhibition displays in a new Bath World Heritage Centre. The resource will then sew the chosen historic places into customised trails for exploring the World Heritage Site throughout Bath. It is an exciting concept that will provide a new way for people to explore heritage.
The Bath World Heritage Centre will open in the heart of the City of Bath World Heritage Site in 2021. It is being created as part of the Archway Project, which is supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and National Lottery players.
