Description

Deadline for Expressions of Interest - 5th April 2021

Closing Date for ITT - 7th April 2021

The NTU Occupational Safety & Wellbeing department is seeking to appoint a Supplier to provide the University with a physiotherapy service of assessment, advice and treatment for University employees who present with musculoskeletal problems.

Due to the every-changing nature of the work environment and external driving factors, the University needs to increase access to this service provision across all NTU campuses and enhance online provision to support management of increased muscular-skeletal absences across the university. Post Covid-19 restrictions, the successful Supplier needs to be able to offer a service off campus due to occupational health demand on the space currently utilised by the existing physiotherapy service.

The current service is one day a week with access to one physiotherapist, as indicated the service moved to a telephone consultation service during Covid-19. We are aiming to widen access to this provision and the perceived increase in referrals for this service requires us to review the University's future requirements. updating the provision and ensuring ease of access to all employees with positive outcomes is key to the delivery of this provision. In the 2018/19 academic year, 140 new clients required access to this service provision and on average requiring 6 appointments each.
