Description
This is a contract for the supply of bedding, linen and towels to Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (The Trust) sites.
The Trust lacks sufficient space to hold significant volumes of the goods on site. To mitigate delays due to manufacture lead times and ensure continuity of supply, the contract includes the requirement for "Just in Time" deliveries.
The objective is to facilitate deliveries of the supplies to the Trust as and when required by frontline services, whilst mitigating the need for 3rd party storage space.
At the end of the Contract Term, the Trust is obliged to purchase any stock held by the Supplier.
The Contract has been procured via further competition under Lot 5 (Bedding, Linen and Towels) of the NHS Supply Chain Textiles and Associated Products Framework.
