Description

The final date and time for the submission of bids is 14/09/2017 at 17:00

All tender information MUST be submitted through the CCS eSourcing Portal.
The Natural Environment Research Council - British Antarctic Survey Require 44 No, Bedrooms to be fully furnished as per the specification below;

All Assembly and Installation will be completed on site, in Antarctica by professional carpenters employed by BAS.

There is no requirement for consideration of Electrical, Plumbing, ICT, VDU or Decoration.
This requirement will include the supply for The Rooms, Furniture and Storage.

Each room shall be designed such that it contains the following;
• 2 no. Single Beds - With Mattresses
• 1 no. Workdesk
• 1 no Desk Chair
• Individual storage space for hanging clothing for 2 persons
• Individual storage space for folded clothing for 2 persons
• Individual storage space for personal items, books etc. for 2 persons
• Individual storage space for a large backpack/bulky item for 2 persons
• Individual or communal hanging space for outdoor clothing for 2 persons
• Individual or communal storage space for footwear, hats and gloves for 2 persons
• Pin Board for official notices and personal photographs etc.
Consideration will need to be given to the issue of joint occupancy of each room by work colleagues. Please also refer to the attached Appendices, to ensure dimensions and room layouts are fully understood.
