Description
Places for People are seeking to appoint provider/s of signage that consistently meet the standards required. The successful supplier/s will need to be able to provide a wide range of products to meet the varying requirements of Places for People and other organisations. As such, Places for People wish to form and let a Signage Framework which will be utilised and owned by Places for People Procurement Hub. It is intended that this framework will be capable of being used by contracting authorities in the United Kingdom.
This procurement is being undertaken by Places for People the contracting authority for itself and as lead authority for the benefit of other organisations set out in the contract notice. Accordingly, it is the intention that these other UK public organisations should be able to rely on this procurement to purchase such goods and services without the need for any further procurement process. The Hub can be joined by Contracting Authorities and stream-lines processes for members of the Hub, reducing time and expense incurred in such procurement processes.
The principle of the Signage Framework is to group products that Places for People and other contracting authority clients require and market the services ensuring quality and value for money allowing a range of contracting authorities to join the Hub and get best value supply and agreements. The core framework agreement will be owned by Places for People.
The framework agreement is to be divided into two distinct Lots and it is the intention to award the framework to one supplier to each lot.
Please note the successful supplier should also adhere to health and safety and waste requirements and involvement of local suppliers in supply chain and agreement to KPIs.
Lot 1 is for the supply of Health and Safety standard signage. This includes regulatory notices and wayfinding for parking, access, CCTV, fire and smoking categories. Lot 2 is for Places for People specific signage for our sites, schemes and offices and includes signage for marketing, site wayfinding and general office signage. All products supplied in this agreement shall be, of the required state and condition, fit for the purpose for which they are intended free from minor defects, safe and durable.
End to end supply chain control processes must be in place to ensure consistent quality, back up warranties and guarantees. All suppliers shall take an informed approach to ensure responsible procurement in the sourcing of all materials and shall ensure they are produced in ethical and environmentally considerate ways.
