Description

Historic England is seeking a partner for an intended multi-year staged project of which this ITT is the first stage. We want to understand better the extent, nature and location of organisations and enterprises contributing to the heritage sector of the economy in England and the relationships between them ('the heritage ecosystem') to inform Government policy development and to shape our own approach to sector support.

This project represents the 'proof of concept' stage in which we want to take a manageable geographical area (North East England) and scrape for data on heritage organisations (including in the supply chain) and see how much manual topping up would be required for different categories of data such as employees, turnover etc. We then want to develop a model of the relationships between organisations to see if an 'ecosystem' can be identified. The results of this 'proof of concept' stage will inform our next stage, which would ideally be to scale up to an England-wide picture. Only this first stage, however, is a firm commitment by Historic England.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Historic England (HE) has updated its e-tendering system ("In-Tend") which will now be completely separate from the joint system we previously operated with English Heritage.

All future Historic England tender opportunities will be published on the updated In-Tend portal but your registration with the English Heritage tendering system will not be affected so please continue to use your existing log on to access their portal.

Please disregard this email if you are only interested in tender opportunities from English Heritage.

We have created a supplier registration account for your company on our "new" portal because you are registered on the existing joint system.

In order to check that your company's account has been registered correctly, and to ensure that you are able to bid for any future HE contracts/tenders, please log into the account we have created for you via the following instructions:

1. Access the HE in-tend portal. Click on this link:

https://in-tendhost.co.uk/historicengland/aspx/Home

2. Log in

Please try to log in to the portal. If this does not work please email: Procurement@HistoricEngland.org.uk. And we will create a new log in for you.

We do apologise for any inconvenience.

Regards

Historic England Procurement Team
