Description

This framework agreement is for the provision of CCTV culvert inspection and clearance services across the South East hub, to assess the condition of the asset and produce a report detailing the culvert location, characteristics, weather conditions at the time of the report, water levels and condition of the culvert with any recommendations for remediation. Culverts need regular condition checks to ensure flow is not disrupted through the watercourse. The work will involve a full internal Closed Circuit TV inspections of the culvert by man entry, remote operation or any other technique deemed applicable/appropriate and agreed with the Employer detailing the service and structural condition and a report containing a summary of the condition of the culvert and defect report with grading, including clear and accurate factual data to enable future repair /remedial works to reduce flood risk. Carrying out this work allows us to understand the condition of the culverts, and identify any blockages or damage in the culverts which may increase flood risk to the surrounding area. The framework will also include the cleansing of culverts for removal of silt and/or blockage, including all necessary works to facilitate this, either pre-inspection or in tandem with the inspection process.

The framework will cover all four areas in the South East hub; Kent, South London & East Sussex (KSL), Hertfordshire & North London (HNL), Thames (THM) and Solent & South Downs (SSD).
