Description

Leicester City Council (the Authority) invited quotations for the provision of the supply and installation of compactor guarding, extending from the current guarding in place. Some of the equipment originally installed was not deemed fit for purpose, and an upgrade of the site was carried out in spring 2017. This involved larger compactors and additional roller packers, which meant that the existing guarding was no longer adequate to protect the customers.
Thus we are looking to install extensions to the existing guarding to ensure we fully protect customers from the upgraded machinery.
