Description

You are invited to tender for the Lead Consultant service required for the Pivot to Active Wellbeing: Developing a targeted Be Well membership proposition.

The Be Well Service delivering Leisure and health improvement services as part of Wigan Council is on a mission to transform our services for those who need us most in our communities; establishing partnerships and providing personalised life-changing support that enables local people to live longer, lead better lives and Be well.

Historically the Leisure Service within Wigan has promoted a "Lifestyle card" now known as the "Be Well card" following the transfer of the service back to Wigan Council operational management control in April 2021.

The impact of the current scheme is limited and is largely based on a legacy approach adopted many years ago. Given the organisational strategic direction and Be Well's response mission and vision it is now appropriate to fundamentally review the approach and develop as an output of this commission a new targeted Be Well pass that is attractive and affordable to the target audience and in the process of doing so clearly define the investment need and the subsequent return of investment opportunity for the Council and the wider health economy.

A full specification for this commission, including the commission's primary objectives and outputs required, are detailed within the Invitation to Tender documentation.

The closing date for the submission of final tender bids is Wednesday 8th May 2024 at 14:00.
