Description
We are the Industry Events Team for the Home Office Commercial Directorate.
We deliver strategic Industry Events, aimed at harnessing suppliers' insights, knowledge and expertise about their industry, and enhancing collaboration with the market. These insights will be used to develop appropriate commercial strategies, and ensure optimal service delivery for the public.
We would like to invite SMEs in the Digital and Technology Marketplace (less than 250 employees) to our Tech UK/Home Office - Digital and Technology SME Industry Event, taking place virtually via Microsoft Teams on: Friday 11th March at 10:00 - 12:00.
Please sign up via this link: https://www.techuk.org/what-we-deliver/events/tech-uk-home-office-digital-and-technology-sme-industry-event.html
This event will not focus on a specific procurement or contract activity, instead the event will be an opportunity for both The Home Office and SMEs to share knowledge around the Digital and Technology marketplace and public procurement processes.
During the event, there will be interactive workshops between the SME attendees and government representatives, where participation will be encouraged. Topics of conversation may centre around understanding public procurement processes, social value, barriers to entry for SMEs, pricing models, terms and conditions, financial standing testing and liabilities.
We would really appreciate your input to these conversations. We will send a pre-event survey to confirmed attendees to gather initial thoughts.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to IndustryEvents@homeoffice.gov.uk.
