The 'Dover Castle: Northern Defences' project is an exciting opportunity for English Heritage that focuses on the Interpretation, Exhibition and Play elements of the northern defences of the castle, that will translate to a thrilling day out for our visitors. It will also act as a driver for achieving a major step change in visitor numbers to the castle. The overall vision for Dover Castle is to become 'one of England's most-loved castles to visit, creating a reason to visit above all other castles'.
