Description

The University plans to undertake a procurement exercise in the summer of 2017 for the provision of a software system that will facilitate management of sample handling in core facilities. The system will need to allow tracking of samples and workflows across four facilities (Molecular Biology Core Facility, Histology, Advanced Imaging and FACS, Mass Spectrometry). Twenty staff members in the core facilities will be users of the system requiring training. Each facility offers a variety of services in a related technical area, with between ten and twenty different workflows being used by each facility.
