Description

This project will explore the governance of flood and coastal erosion risk in England and Wales. Firstly, it will examine the current framework, to identify the roles, responsibilities and effectiveness of different types of risk management authorities. Secondly, it will evaluate innovative local practices within flood and coastal erosion risk management and other sectors, appraising the new governance approaches they offer. Project outputs will include guidance for best practice and future strategy development.
