Description

NHS North Staffordshire and NHS Stoke on Trent CCGs serve a population of approximately 502 000 people. The CCGs are considering the possible procurement of a Community Podiatry Service for the population of Northern Staffordshire using a single provider route. The service shall provide a high quality community-based specialist foot care service for patients with a podiatric need. The overarching aims of the service are to;-provide access to high quality, safe care for patients with a podiatric need -provide timely advice, early interventions, assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients according to their individual need -ensure timely access to treatment to prevent deterioration in foot health and to prevent unnecessary admissions into secondary care. This notice intends to identify suppliers who may be interested expressing an interest for this service. The CCGs are initially asking for organisations to register their Expressions of Interest only at this stage by 30.11.2016.

If and when this requirement is offered to tender, this will be done via electronic means using the internet.
Midlands and Lancashire CSU is conducting this procurement exercise as a central purchasing body for another NHS body with whom the successful bidder(s) will enter into contracts for the supply of the services. Any other public sector body wishing to access the contract may do so only with permission from the contracting NHS body. The contract conditions will be set out in the Invitation to Tender.
