Description

The Northern Lighthouse Board has a requirement to purchase or lease an all-terrain vehicle, either new or used, and a trailer for transportation. NLB's decision will be based on which option provides best value for money. The vehicle will be used at remote locations throughout Scotland. The ATV vehicle must have the ability to be transported by road by the use of a trailer.

Training:
As this vehicle is required to operate in a remote, rugged and marine environments, the Board will require the successful supplier to provide familiarisation training for 2 - 3 NLB staff (1 Day), on the ATV vehicles capabilities and functionality at Northern Lighthouse Board, 21B, Dalcross Industrial estate, Inverness, IV2 7XB. Details of this training must be included within your quotation reply and should be shown below. All costs associated with this training should be shown separately within your pricing schedule and should be inclusive of accommodation and travel & subsistence costs. No additional cost will be accepted by NLB for this element.

Site Trial of Vehicle:
Depending on cost, as this vehicle is required to operate in a remote, rugged and marine environments, if selected, the Board will require a demonstration of the proposed All-Terrain Vehicle at either the premises of the supplier or at the intending site location to ensure that the vehicle is fit for purpose.
